AJR's Obituary? (EXCLUSIVE TO WCC (Most likely, anyway))

Hello everyone...
I come before you today with bad news... VERY BAD news...
Is it the end of AJR?
What is AJR? you may ask. AJR is another Animal Jam site that has been around since the BEGINNING of Animal Jam. It has lots of very important records and files that could be 'lost to the ages'.
I will show you pictures from a private conversation that me and Fuzzy had on her chat. You can then decide wether or not it is the End of AJR.

Question that starts the conversation is said by me:

'Fuzzy, are you really stopping AJR?'

Fuzzy, if you are reading this... Sorry, but I had to let the word out.

So... maybe WCC will become the new AJR?

I would talk to Fuzzy about this if I could. If anyone is on chat when Fuzzy is on, private chat her and ask her questions about the situation.

AJR'S OBITUARY:

AJR was born on Monday, August 9th of 2010.

I originally was introduced to AJR in late October of 2010. I was searching for Animal Jam when I found it on Google. I clicked it, decided it was a good site, and wrote down it's URL.

When I got home, as soon as I could, I went onto the computer, typed in the URL, and then went to AJR to mark it.

Over the next few months, I read through the whole archive. I became a 'true' AJR fan.

When Fuzzy introduced mods, I really wanted to be one. I hoped and hoped. Eventually modship came. I was so happy...

Mt. Shiveer was introduced. The failed Valentine's Day party. Everything. AJR covered it all.

By the time mid-March came around, AJR was in decline. All great empires, such as the Greeks, Romans, Persians, Egyptians, fell eventually. AJR was on the brink of collapse. There were many posts that had nothing to do with Animal Jam anymore, more just about comments and how they were rude, etc.

AJR's most recent post was on Tuesday, the 22nd of March. That was a week ago from the time this obituary was posted.

AJR has fallen. In a few days (or maybe a few hours, or maybe that week ago post) AJR's last post will be posted.

To a proud Internet sensation;

The Ball Clock... What time is it?

Hello everyone!
If you have seen, we have two new objects!
The first is Wolf, the site mascot! Check out the post below about him as well as the hit party, etc.
The second is the Ball Clock. It's an awesome tool, and can tell you the time if you know the trick...

As you can see, the top 2 bars are minutes and the bottom bar shows the hours.
The first minute bar (added to the second minute bar's count) shows minutes that are not divisible by 5.
The second minute bar shows minutes that are divisible by 5 in the hour.
The on the clock here shows 5:20. If there were another ball on the top bar, it would be 5:21.
I realized also that you can make 'artificial times' by dragging the balls around on the clock! You can always check the time by clicking the 'reset' button (hidden by tools).
The coolest time, in my opinion, is 1:00. The thing is, you have to make 12:59 if you can't be around to see it. The reason I will let you check out on your own.

Anyway, I'm going to tell you a bit about the icons below him. All of them work when you click on them. (BTW... The tools are nothing you will see. I didn't realize they were on there... That's so I can edit anything I want on my blog when I'm on it)

The bone icon, when you click on it, throws his bone (He loves his bone... ;) ).
The dog icon gives him a treat.
The red ball icon throws a little red ball.
The pointer icon will bring Wolf up to your pointer. You can then make him look around, etc.
The down arrow, if you click it once, makes him sit. If you click it again, he lies down. If you click it a third time, he rolls over on his belly.
The movie icon lets you look directly at the dog. Otherwise, you can only see the initial view that you can't move (the 'yard cam').

Also... the hit party is DEFINITELY happening. There are almost 600 views!
Now it's just the date... I'll get back to you with this later.

Finally... we have an average of ~20.592 views a day so far in March! Congratulations! (~ means about or estimate in this case)

The Slow Transition...............................................to Mods and No Realms

I just wanted to say that I'm now going to start the transition to 'No Realms'. It looks like we're outnumbered 3-1, so if anyone wants to stop me... vote for 'No' now.
First off, I'm going to be getting rid of the Free Realms codes, but I'm wondering if the Free Realms Clan can be saved from the Recycle Bin. Does anyone think that 'Woodswolf's RPG' would be interesting on Animal Jam? If you do, just comment...

Also... I'm going to start adding mods. I will post a list of mods in the sidebar as I make them... but don't rush me.
BTW: I just want to say that this site is a bunch 'free-er' than AJR, in a way. First thing, AJR has comment moderation, and I don't. That means that I can't stop you from saying your opinion. Freedoms can be used (wolves are awesome's patriotic display) and can be abused (F***!!!). I DON'T want to turn on comment moderation, but if I have to I will.
Second thing, anybody can be a mod because I choose not to filter comments! If you comment you can be one! Just comment useful stuff, like if you know a code, or if you see a new thing that I didn't see, etc. You don't have to work that hard to be a mod!

ESTABLISHING MODS and RELEASING GAME GUIDE?

Hello everyone...
I'm having mixed feelings. I'm angry at the bad comment I recieved (THIS IS THE ONLY ONE... IT MAKES ME REALLY PEEVED) yet I'm also sad that innocents get punished too.
What I've decided to do is establish mods, finally. So, if you desire to be a mod, SIGN UP IN A COMMENT ON THIS POST ONLY! The thing is, you have to prove you are worthy. So, if anyone has a question, help them if I don't see it, etc.
So... SIGN UP! (BTW lalakers... you're really close to modship... only have to sign up because you've already proven the 'niceness' factor, the 'willing to comment' factor, and assuming you know a decent amount about AJ... yeah)

Also, I'm not sure if I want to release the game guide yet. I probably will, but it's still kinda ickly right now...
I'm nervous to release it because of the bad comment. I want to because otherwise it's like the Tale of the Twins:
Once upon a time, some twins got arrested and were being tried in court. The judge ruled the one guilty and the other innocent, but said that he had to let them both go, because they were Siamese twins (AKA... they are joined by some body part).

I'm going to have 3 parties: one on Animal Jam, one on Free Realms, and one on Wizard101.
So:

Animal Jam Party Details:
Where: My den (will move around!)
Server: Grande (MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON GRANDE. We will NOT wait for people to switch servers, and WILL move around)
When: 7:00PM CST (go to time.gov to figure out your time zone) on March 18th (Friday)
Dress Code: Green everything! Doesn't matter besides that!

Free Realms Party Details:
Where: Wolf Mountain (It's right on top of the Greenwood Warpstone. This will also be one of the three meeting places of the Free Realms RPG (Role-Playing Guild). I'll show you two ways to get up to the top, where we will party) (we will move around!)
Server: 10 (MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON SERVER 10. We will NOT wait for people to switch servers, and WILL move around)
When: 7:00PM CST on March 19th (Saturday)
Dress Code: Everything that you can make green, turn green (Members: I have no idea, but there might be green hair dye around that time too :) )

I'm very excited! Remember: Use the E-mail Post links to get the hits up! I want to see LOTS OF PEOPLE at these parties!

NEW CHAT!!!!!

Hi everyone!
I HAVE CREATED A CHAT GROUP FOR THE SITE!!!!!
This will be the place where everyone can socialize and get to know each other!
As you can see, there is a new page, labeled 'Chat Box'. Click on it to go to the chat!
At least for the Animal Jam parties, everyone will have to be on chat... It will make it easier to do stuff, such as adding those that want to be added...
I'm not sure about Free Realms, though... because Free Realms takes up the whole screen... I know how to make it not do that, but it's inconvenient...

Recently, I was checking out the Weekly Poll results...
I don't know why, I thought I would be getting a lot of the 'Yes. Animal Jam' results... but I found this...

The result that's underlined in red is the one I want you to look at.
I thought I was posting WAY too much about Animal Jam... and, on top of that, I've barely posted ANYTHING on Free Realms!
Help me understand this...
If you voted for 'Yes. Free Realms', please explain in a comment on this post... because I sure don't understand...

Changing Party Times? (CPT)

Hello everyone!
I just found out that I have a early-release on Thursday (17th) and no school on Friday (18th)... If you look down at one of the party reminder posts, you would see that they are the days RIGHT before the parties...
I was wondering if we should change the times to 7-8 PM on those dates!
Another plan I had worked out was to have the Animal Jam party be from 5-6 and the Free Realms party be from 7-8, so we could have them BOTH on Thursday instead of just one!
So... anyone like the idea?

DOWN at the bottom of the sea...

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to bring to your attention that there are new things, they're just down at the bottom. I mean WAY bottom.
Down there, there is a list of the most popular posts (which you can then go to and make MORE popular), a subscription link (it just alerts you when there are new posts on WCC in your e-mail, and if it sounds like something you have to pay for... it's not.) and a searchbox (I know that should be somewhere near the top, but it's too cramped up there).
I just wanted to alert you of those things.

More St. Patrick's Day Info, Mods, and #80!

Hello everyone!
A few days ago I got a question about 'What exactly can you wear to the St. Patrick's Day party?' from a top (and for that matter, only) commenter (Let's change this, people...).
Anything green is fine, it just has to have some green on it. Either that, or you can wear PINK (What color is Patrick Star? Ding ding ding!).


In a few weeks I will be making a post about making Mods (short for Moderaters).
What Mods do is they look at the comments for posts, and if anyone has questions, they will (if they can) answer them. My plan is to have 1 mod for Animal Jam and 1 mod for Free Realms to start out. The special post mentioned earlier will be a post called 'Mod Auditions' where I will explain the qualities of the Mod, like what it does, what it doesn't do, and what requirements have to be met before you can become one. This is where I will let you audition for being mods. But first, GET THE COMMENTS UP!!!!!


Also, I got #80 (see 76... 77... 78...)!
Again, I want to know how many achievements you guys have!
You don't have to feel embarassed, it's just preparing us for the release of the Achiever Clan (nicknamed AC) which is entirely dependent on achievements. I have posted a guide today that has about 500 achivements on it (close enough) for assistance in reaching your 'achievement goal'...
