Member newsletters?

Hi guys,
I was just looking above and beyond Animal Jam.
And I click parents and then I click Member ship and then it says what you get when you become a member and one of them quit surprised me, SCREENSHOT:
Access to our member newsletter! They do not have a members only newsletter.. So they might be making on soon! For members only! And.. Why members only? It's just a news letter. So.. It might be news ONLY members can read.. Now THAT'S stupid!

COMMENT WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THIS!

  5. I think its stuff that only concerns members, like if your membership is almost out, member items out, etc. And let's not forget it's in an email.

  10. @ Everyone:
Well, I think the 'members only news' is going to be MORE sneak-previews of features like pets. Or maybe all the real news will go in the member newsletter and the previews will go into the regular news... and if that happens, well, AJ will just become a tormenter.
    @ Grand:
I know, I know. AJ needs money, bla bla bla bla. But they're still getting a bit off-guard. There are two types of people in the world; the hammers and the anvils. AJ HQ is a bunch of arrogant hammers. The non-members are made of equal parts hammers and anvils. The anvils get pounded on and don't care; the hammers hit back. Protests will start no matter what, and if enough hammers round themselves up...
    Chaos.
AJ HQ is ignoring the powderkeg connected to the fuse. They're just burning the fuse. And when the fuse burns down...
    Chaos.
    Have I made my point?

no! you haven't i trust AJ! NATGEO made them! and some of the money is to help save big cats!

Yes, some. But probably not much. They want profit. $$$. The 'big cats support' is probably just to get people to buy membership to help save the cats. If they use FR's pricing, then a great deal of the money is for big cats. If they use their own, well... they could be just $5 or something out of the $50 year.

I have to take Grand's side. However, you should know that AJ isn't the most ambitious game out there. Yes, it is a bit over-priced, but Moshi Monsters is much less fair to nonmembers, who can only have two pets (members can have unlimited), are not able to go to certain lands (The Port and Gift Island), send gifts (The gifts can only be sent from Gift Islands), can't change colors, get "moving" items, have as much friends, play "Super Moshis", or have their pets follow them. And in CP, nonmembers cannot buy clothes, finish or start quests, design their igloo, buy furniture, have 16 puffles (the pets. Nonmembers can have two. Nonmembers can also only have the blue or red puffle!), play certain levels of games, or play "Card Jitsu Fire" or "Card Jitsu Water". AND nonmembers can play Card Jitsu!

That's a lot. But it's no more than I expected. AJ has about that many restrictions. Some I may not have even told about because 'they've always been there' and they're not very bad. I think AJ is currently seeing CP or MM as a goal to reach, yes, before the end of the year. It already isn't very fun to play AJ besides looking around at the lands and changing your look to a slightly different color combo underneath your still-lame clothes.

Membership newspapers were real a LONG time ago, Like when membership was first out. I think AJHQ forgot about that. :3
