Just wanted to let you know: For the first time in a long time, WCC is gonna have a PARTAY! WOO!

So What Exactly Are Phantoms?

As the Day of the Phantoms approaches, many Jammers have had one big question on their minds: "What exactly are phantoms?" The answer to that question lies long ago.

Mira, the Sky Mother, was sad that she had lost her companion Zios, the Sky Father. Her feelings of sadness and anger fell to the ground, mixed with the elements of Jamaa, and formed the dark and mysterious phantoms.

Now, the phantoms' only goal is to bring chaos and destruction to Jamaa. That's why we celebrate the Day of the Phantoms: to trick and tease them, preventing them from doing their dark deeds!

So, there you have it! Now you know!

Here are some important dates from the past to remember with this edition:

Yesterday I met a scammer, it was easy to know that he would scam me. I told him that I would trade my greyish-greenish worn blanket for his cream one, then he said:
Ok trade your 2 worn blankets for my bunny plushy. Then I would send you by e-mail my big horns, scary bat wing and worn blanket.
Well I just told him he was a scammer, reported him for being a scammer(its in the list now) and walked away. His username is wolfman11471 I think.
The other thing is, well, OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG MEH DEN WAS EPIC IM SO DARN HAPPY I JUST CANT BELIEVE IT IT WAS MY BIGGEST DREAM ON AJ OK MAYBE FOR SOME OF YOU YOUR BIGGEST DREAM IS TO HAVE LOTS OF RARES BUT THAT IS NOT MY BIGGEST DREAM ON AJ (sort of)! Im so darn happy! XD XD XD XD XD

Hello everyone!
This is WCC's first Release Analysis! Release Analysises are in-depth looks at what was released and WHY. So, here's this week's topic: OCEANS!
Here are today's questions:
1. Why would AJ HQ release OCEAN ONLY animals?
2. What could be behind the Seahorse door?
3. Where does the 'lit cave' near the barrel in Deep Blue lead?
4. Where does the taped-off door above the Clothes Shop go?
5. What could be coming next?

QUESTION 1: WHY WOULD AJ HQ RELEASE OCEAN ONLY ANIMALS?
So, we all know the story. AJ HQ came out with oceans and released two animals that can only play in them. Well, let's think about how many areas they can't access!
Land clothes
Dens
Furniture stores
Pet shop
Lands
That's a lot of things they can't access! And, sure, it's fun to play as, for example, a dolphin, but you can't go to your den as a dolphin! They also can't go to the lands OR get pets! That's not very good, really. They can't access a lot of stuff!
This question ties into almost every other one, so read on for why.

QUESTION 2: WHAT COULD BE BEHIND THE SEAHORSE DOOR?
This question ties in with the previous one. So far, I can see two plausible explanations: an underwater pet store or an underwater furniture store.
For the first explanation (which is more likely because of the seahorse on the door) the underwater only animals might want pets. And right now, they can't have pets. So, they make a pet store.
The second explanation, although this one also works for the taped off door above the underwater clothing place, is that it's an underwater furniture store. Why? I said that the underwater animals can't access dens. So, they make a new den that underwater animals can access and let you put underwater furniture in it. Although I wouldn't be surprised if this feature is members only, as only members can have multiple dens.

QUESTION 3: WHERE DOES THE 'LIT CAVE' NEAR THE BARREL IN DEEP BLUE LEAD?
This is probably a connection to another (still to come) ocean. Maybe it's a secret cave that land animals can access too? I don't know. A portal back to the surface? Possibly.

QUESTION 4: WHERE DOES THE TAPED-OFF DOOR ABOVE THE CLOTHES SHOP GO?
This probably is the furniture store. See Question 2.

QUESTION 5: WHAT MIGHT COME NEXT?
Here are a few possible things, based on this analysis:

WOLF WORLD DRAFT

MAJOR AJ UPDATES!

Hello everyone! BIG STUFF! In other news: I'm depressed now, because only ocean animals can go in the ocean! So, thus, I needed to get rid of one of my wolves. Well, I got rid of Enchanted Rainywolf and got Enchanted Rainyspirit in honor of him, since both of my characters are supposed to be mythical spirits. Goodbye Rainywolf! :(
Moving on. I can't access all the rooms at this time, so this will be updated later.
Honestly, I hate getting rid of Rainywolf already. Seals aren't the same! D:
Long story short, oceans came before the 8th land (the one in the upper left corner) which is kinda weird, and only water animals can go in there. Plus, there are accessories that animals can only wear on land or in water, so thus, my seal can't have his police hat, blue necklace, and purple glove (I WILL TRADE FOR BLUE) on in the ocean. But if I was a member, I could get him, for example, a trident, to wear under the sea. But I'm not. So, there.
Anyways, there are 3 new rooms, so I guess it's worth it.
Plus, the background color behind an item tells you wether it can be worn on sea or land.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Currently I'm trying to set up a piece of code that will display random facts about games in the sidebar. Hopefully I can figure this out soon!

Hello everyone!
UPDATE: Sorry about that, Tiger. I didn't read the comments until after the fact. However, there is an easy way to prevent that from happening. Go to a site that generates high-security passwords and copy them and use those. That way it's harder for people to hack you. Currently I have one that uses letters of both cases, numbers, and symbols. I just hit 'remember password' and I don't have to type it ever again (and the first time I just copied it anyway). EVERYONE should try this (By the way, check your inbox because you have been re-invited, Tigerstripe).
So, next thing. I think EVERYONE who is sane should quit Animal Jam. Or at least consider it. If you're a member, it might not be that bad, however. Weather the storm. But hackers and scammers are on the loose and everyone is getting robbed. I've been reading this book called GONE. It's about some kids that are stuck in a circular walled area with a 20 mile diameter and how everything turns to chaos. In the end, everyone is robbing everything from everyone else, several people have been killed off (ON ACCIDENT, EVEN) and everyone is panicking. I'm only half way through. Yeah, it's gonna get worse. Does this remind you of any situations? Oh, yeah. Animal Jam's hacking and scamming problems. Sure, I haven't seen anyone take over anyone else's bodies yet in the book, but... it could happen. It's the equivalent of hacking someone.
There are many games. Some have potential of being our output for the 'big move'. Some don't. But if I had to pick any of them, right off the top of my head, it would be one of these two: Free Realms of FeralHeart. Why?
With FeralHeart nobody hacks or scams because there are no items. World peace in a bottle (except for swearing people, but there are moderators)! You can also have an unlimited amount of characters, and it is an excellent game for Roleplay.
With Free Realms the username isn't shown, so it is very hard to hack someone unless if you scam them by pretending you have a working SC card and they trade you coins for a fake code. And if you do hack in, there are millions of accounts, and each one has at least one character. You will be up for DAYS. Or weeks. Or years. It's not sensible.
I have logged on to Animal Jam for possibly the last time today. It's just not fun anymore. But for those of you who decide to stay, I will still do the news updates when they are there :)

A Tribute to 9-11....

As You all know today is the 10th anniversary of 9-11, when terrorists attacked the pentagon and the Twin Towers. The 19 terrorists claimed over 3,497 victims. Today is a sad day for America, a day of remember those who gave their lives, and those who lost them. It is also a sad day for animal jam, a majority of jammers are from usa. So I went to town today, made a huge speech and declared a moment of silence to honor and remember those who passed away on September 11, 2001. Surprisingly the town was completely silent until it was over (a little over one minute.) I am deticating this sad poem to what it would probobly be like to go through a loss of a loved one...

• jammers with rares (not that there is many rares anymore)
• jammers with memberships
• jammers who have accidentally said something bad (or not meant to make it sound bad but it did)
• when the oceans and new animals are here, jammers with the sharks and dolphins should be careful.

A few things.

Hello everyone!
Sorry, I know I haven't been on in a while, but there is one thing I've noticed.
WCC is slowing down. A few reasons for this:
1. Animal Jam, the game that brings us all together, is... quite frankly, dying. Getting less fun and more unfair.
2. Everyone is branching out into different games. I am switching games almost every two weeks. It's hard to keep up these days! XD
3. I don't think anyone wants to have to listen to the little 'turf wars' that keep happening. PLEASE. Kiddy, I know that you and Tigerstripe don't exactly get along, but even then you have to remember that my Gmail has been hacked. Thrice. Once with a super-high-security password. It isn't necessarily him that's writing it. And sure, everyone listens to the argument. But for the people who want JUST the news about the games, it's not good. I won't delete the post, and you don't have to delete the post, just please remember for next time. This goes for ALL of the columnists. This is the reason I don't allow advertisements (besides Name/URL links in comments that you DON'T draw attention to; let people click if they please) because then... well, people get upset if they don't have theirs up there, or if someone does this or that, or if Billy Bob says something in a comment on Joe Smoe's post. Settle it with them without publicly embarrassing them. On a private chat, for instance.

REALMS ONLINE:
Pros: HUGE 3D game world, 3 factions battle for power, 6 total classes (3 classes, 2 subclasses each), nine unique races (in terms of backstory; there are humans for each realm), SeptemberFest experience boosts are going on right now, a few codes, PvP is well-controlled inside the realm walls, hundreds of quests
Cons: Can only switch realms once you delete all of your characters, deleting characters takes two weeks, game world is large and easy to get lost in, no quest compass, download takes a long time, game only runs correctly if installed in the Games folder, low customization
Rating: *****

SCAMMED!!!!!!!

I got scammed for meh grey NM glove! Maybe I will contact AJ HQ...My pure glove...Im so sad...I just got it back from hacker last month...Im so sad...DX
Here is how he scammed meh:
He gave me a request for his NM bat wings for my glove. He kept on clicking the cancel button. So he pretended that there was some thing wrong so I had to do it faster. So when he pretended that it worked, he traded his MEMBER wings for meh glove! Dont fall for that trick! But Im still so sad...My beloved glove...DX I already got scammed 6 times and hacked twice...Tell me if I should continue playing, quit or contact AJ HQ to see if I can get meh glove back...DX

Another Glitch??

I was in animal jam at my den. i was scrolling through my den items and there were three items into one space! O_0 Im pretty sure the glitch was due to the updating of the icons (they made the objects in the boxes larger) and the fact that i ran out of inventory space. I had a pic but i cant find it.

Game Reviews: Animal Jam, Free Realms and Wizard101

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to inform you that I am now doing GAME REVIEWS!
Just know that as WCC is a non-profit organization, companies can't pay for their games to get good reviews. No bribes, in other words. They can, however, comment and ask for their game to be reviewed.
So, here are the first few games!

Animal Jam:
Pros: Big playerbase, fun, earning money is fast, lots of codes (alphabetic), no download
Cons: Membership has too many benefits, overrun with hackers/scammers, updates only every two weeks, small game world
Rating (one * to five *, five is best): ****

Free Realms:
Pros: Huge game world, 3D, lots of jobs, no download, quests, membership 'disappears' in isolated areas, lots of codes (alphanumeric), fast leveling, no hackers, farming is awesome, other stuff
Cons: Membership and Pay Money (Known as Station Cash or SC) is not a good mix, only one character per account (on free to play)
Rating (one * to five *, five is best): *****

Wizard101:
Pros: 3D, quests, no hackers, infinity characters per account if you want, lots of codes (there's a site that's associated with the publisher that gets you them)
Cons: Membership and Pay Money (Known as Crowns) is not a good mix, small game world (for non-members/crownlesses), leveling up is slow after about level 10, no quest-dropping tool

its odd back to the past got me thinking..and i loved animaljam so mutch back then it was way better and i think i should yell at animaljam...I mean there should be no members and no non members everyones = in real life so why cant we all be = in aj? I think we should stand up to aj and give then what the need!! Alot of times aj changes people and make the stuck up snobs but i know none of us are like that right? Weird Glitch: Last Wolf In Jamaa...

Today i was on animal jam, then i logged out for a couple minutes. When I logged back on it showed all the servers with one green dot (meaning empty). so i clicked Aldan...and when i entered NOBODY WAS ON. Not a single jammer in all of jamaa! It was a very strange glitch..like a parallel universe of animal jam! i danced and did whatever i wanted to. i felt like the ruler of the world lol. It was fun...but lonely. i just wanted to share this with you guys because i thought it was funny and interesting. Anyways, i am not sure how this happened or how to repeat it. Animal jam has been going offline alot recently. At first i thought Animal jam had done some maintenance and i was just the first one there. but i I logged out and logged back in, and there were tons of jammers! I also asked around jamaa if Animal jam had just went offline, but they all said no. My opinion is that it was just a giant glitch and somehow it didn't show any jammers but they were there.

Hmm...Tell me what you think!

More and More Into It...

Hello everyone...
Lately I've been getting more and more into playing Secondhand Lands, the fairy tales game (website: www.secondhandlands.com). Why? Here are a few reasons:
It's another 'more violent and entertaining' version of Animal Jam. And it's not really violent, you just do lots of quests that involve snuffing candles and pushing Humpty Dumpty off his wall and cutting off a stuffed animal's head for 'revenge' for these eggs (even though it will 'give you nightmares for eternity').
It's 3D. Generally 3D games have more areas to explore than 2D ones, and those areas are bigger. It's called 'more awesome'.
It's fair. There's no membership in Secondhand Lands. There's a special currency that you can buy with real money, but there's a currency exchange, too, so that you can get some of it from other players in exchange for gold.
It's fun! Running around being attacked by robot mice is WAY more fun than it sounds.
It comes in a 'game pack'. When you download the game launcher, it comes with two other games as well. You can launch any of the games from the single launcher.
It's got more of a goal than just socializing. If no one's online, you can still play it and have fun.

I just want everyone to know something:
As the owner of WCC, it's my job to be 'everyone's best friend'. I'm supposed to be kind to everyone, even if I don't agree with you. I've adapted this view ever since the Fuzzy Crisis (read more about that way back in the archives - try late March/early April. It was BAD. The posts only tell half the story... the comments even more).
That's why I find it ridiculous that there's all this bickering!
Seriously, as long as someone isn't attacking me personally, I wouldn't worry about that. And quite frankly, nobody could get in WCC even if they tried (THANK GOD FOR 64 DIGIT PASSWORDS). And as for Animal Jam? It will be easy to give it up if I get hacked again. I mean seriously. They've already made it WAY unfair for non-members. And I've got FeralHeart and The Endless Forest too, and I could join more.
So can't we just all get along? I don't want to have to take sides. I just want the truth.

hello guys! I'm biscuitboo (or biscuit/ biscuity, for short). i am a new author on this blog, and i was on key99's AJS. but today, i looked on my dashboard, and key's blog wasn't on there! i am just wondering if anyone know's why? because i liked AJS and would never, ever, remove myself. i also wondered...as there's a new AJS author, had they removed me? but they couldn't have if they don't have admin privileges! the new author is eternal sunnystone...i totally don't think she/he removed me, because key'd be angry with her...i guess....comment if you know anything about this or has my account "gone wrong"?

"Rare" plushies...?

Ok, as you know, there are new plushies on Animal Jam. In the newspaper, it says that they are "rare". I dont really think so-I dont think so at all-that they are rare. Just click on a Jammer's player card, and go to their den-if its not locked (duh). And you shall maybe see a den with TONS and LOADS of "rare plushies". Dont ask ME why, but I think that AJ HQ is LYING. Tell me what YOU think about the "rare colored plushies".

I just wanted to take you on a little 'tour' of The Lost Pages of AnimalJam.Com, the literal version of Lost Temple of Zios.
So, here are some screenshots, and a way to get to the most important things. Here are links to every single 'Lost Page' on the site.

Game Guide - Overview page, lots of links to the different pages, including a tie-back to the membership page, which is, unfortunately, updated, and doesn't tie back to this page.

If you look on some of the pages that haven't been touched, you see the cooler old site stuff. I have no idea why they got rid of it, but it's sad that they did. You also get to see the few 'previews' that we saw of the lands. It's fun to go back and see what was there :)

A BI-WEEKLY EVENT to HELP those who NEED

Here's our situation:

For the past month, AJ HQ has failed to shift the colors of clothing items, one of the most important things in Jamaa. Non-members have been unable to change item colors since around March/April. If they can't change the color of what clothes they wear, they can look pretty despicable with their favorite colors on and nothing to match them.

That's where CHIP-IN for CHUMPS comes in. We should all try, twice a month, to give non-members the stuff they need in the colors they want. It would make their day if they received the item they were really needing! It would also help the 'image' of members just to be there, as many non-members despise them for being 'sick, ignorant in-your-faces' as some could tell you they are. I don't agree with that stereotype; and you don't have to either!

CHIP-IN for CHUMPS

Help the people in need, Help them to not plead!

Where: CHIP-IN for CHUMPS meets in Jamaa Township any old day, but there are big gatherings on Saturdays.

WHEN: Saturdays are the main meetings (At whatever time), but any day, any time. Need knows no season!

WHAT: A simple gathering. Inform non-members what you're doing as part of CHIP-IN for CHUMPS, ask if they would like anything (Please inform them that they can't wear member items... not everyone knows that), and get it for them. Tell them to trade in an item of equal or more value, to be fair to you.

BLOG OWNERS: Please pass this along!

If CHIP-IN for CHUMPS is a success, I might become member just to do it! Currently I'm just a Chump, though. BUT I will NOT accept donations. I won't. Find someone else.

It seems like my prediction is going to be wrong.( 7 posts down). Woodswolf's post makes more sense. ^.^ I am not going to make predictions for a while. Yes, there's a reason I'm using ... today after my greeting instead of my usual !
I have some very depressing news.
Look at this. I found it in my Jam-A-Gram horde:

There are a few things that I'm depressed about with that:
The first thing is in the second thing on the list:
MEMBERS get exclusive FREE gifts every month. Become a member in July and get a cool new accessory!
We're (non-members) are going to get one of these EVERY MONTH, that means. Let us sing praises to AJ's Creators about how they're so pathetic!
The second thing is in the third thing:
MEMBERS can find and collect pets, wear all the clothes and accessories in Jamaa, decorate the coolest dens, use animated emotes, and so much more to come!
Well, there goes the idea that non-member pets will exist. Bye bye! See you... never!
The third thing that annoys me is BOTH of the last two. What is Animal Jam's mission? To make learning about animals FUN! Do you see anything on here that mentions learning about animals? Or learning in general? No! The closest thing that membership gets to is 'supporting big cats'. Since it doesn't go by its mission, it's really worthless! It's kinda stupid to have membership for a virtual thing anyway... it's all not real!

One thing that REALLY creeped me out was a fraction of a dream last night. It was about Animal Jam (for reasons unknown... no, I don't dream about games! I don't usually dream at all!). I was opening someone's player card (I have no idea who... it was blurry...) and the 'Add Buddy' button was black. Like the 'go to den' button when it's locked or you're in it already. That scared me. Really, really bad scared me. If this is predicting the future, my buddy list with all my buddies will go. I won't be able to talk to you, etc. That's what scared me. If AJ gets that cheap... that buddies are 'members only'... *shivers*

Hello everyone!
I'm going to be at my cousins' house for a few days (FINALLY a place with constant wi-fi!) and I just came to check up on how everyone was doing!
BTW: My family went to the Grand Canyon yesterday, and we were going to a lot of other canyon places. They were LITERAL Coral Canyons. Seriously. The rock was the EXACT SAME SHADE OF RED. It was awesome!

My Theory on Pets

In the back of this weeks newspaper there is an article saying there will be a new pet in two weeks, they had this picture:

My Theory: I Think that the new pet will be non member.

Im positive that it will be a butterfly. It would make sense for Animal jam to come out with four pets (duck, frog, cat, & dog) for members. They probably did that so that it would seem like non members would never have pets, so then more people would become members. Now, weeks later, they announce the new butterfly coming soon . It makes sense that they would only let us non-members have an insect as a pet, you know? My logic is that they cant have an article in the newspaper about how all non members matter to them too when they give members pets and give us none at all.

If my theory about the nonmember butterfly is correct, then this may be the outcome:

----Members ----

-up to 4 Pets

-can choose between a frog, dog, cat or duck

-can have rare pets

-can choose a name for their pet - -are able groom their pet (future feature)

----Non Members ----

-can only have a butterfly

- cannot have rare pets

- cannot groom their pet

-cannot choose a name for their pet

(maybe even MORE restrictions!)

Also in the new crystal sands there is a little shack that hasn't opened yet. (that is what i meant by future feature) I think this is going to be a place where you can groom & bathe your pets. It will probably be members only because your cant give a butterfly a bath (if my theory about the nonmember pet is correct)

"endangered" animals on Animal Jam?

Everyone knows that Elephants and Rhinos are both members only. The reason for that is they are both endangered animals so they are "rare." This is ridiculous because pandas are endangered also and they are non member! So Anmail jam's logic isnt consistent.

Thats all i can think of right now. but Animal Jam Hq is just looking for excuses to make things member. They look for every possible opportunity to atract people to become members, for money!! have i made my point?
